Remedial Wall Tie Testing Accessories
Some of the accessories listed below are supplied as standard in the Wall Tie Tester Kit which are for medium duty tension testers.
Wall Tie Tester Kit
For testing most types of remedial Wall tie to the requirements of DD 140 Part 1 1986 "Methods of test for mortar joint and timber frame connections". Kit includes tester with 0 - 5kN fixed gauge and Threaded Rod adaptors, Ancon adaptor and Wall Tie Spacer Bridge.
Spiral Tie Adaptor
For testing spiral shaped wall ties. Use direct onto structure or with wall tie bridge.
Threaded Rod Adaptors
Used with wall tie spcer bridge or with the tester direct onto a surface 9mm clearance hole required in structure for plain shank.
