The Hydrajaws Shear Tester Add-on is a versatile and reliable solution for testing shear loads on anchors in construction materials like concrete and masonry.
Designed to integrate seamlessly with a M2000, M2050 or M35+ load cell (available separately), this kit ensures precise shear load verification for your anchors.
NOTE: The ‘Shear Tester Add-on Kit’ does not include a tester – this frame is compatible with Hydrajaws M35+, M2000 and M2050 Testers (Available separately)
Features
Key features include a shear bracket equipped with a PTFE gasket to minimise friction, a keyhole for clear substrate observation, and a datum boss for accurate displacement measurement. The shear test reaction box mounts securely to the substrate using four anchors, with spacing tailored to typical UK and European brick centres, ensuring compatibility and consistency.
The Shear Tester is packaged in a durable Hydrajaws rucksack, containing all the essential accessories needed for efficient shear testing.
